A really lovely looking clay with a rustic sort of vibe. This clay has a large firing range so it can be used as either an earthenware or stoneware clay. The clay body has a good degree of plasticity, containing a coarse silica grog. It is suitable for sculptural and slab work but not really advised for throwing on the wheel due to its high grog content.
I would always advise to test how your clays and glazes interact with each other but I know this clay to work well with Duncan and Gare glazes.
